The Concord first graced the world in 1995, on the feet of a returning Michael Jordan. He'd taken a brief hiatus from basketball, but with the Concords laced up, he was back with a vengeance. The shoe itself was a masterpiece of design. The sleek silhouette, the luxurious patent leather mudguard, and the pops of vibrant purple – it was a look that was both elegant and aggressive.

The hype was instant. The first retro release in 2000 saw lines stretching for blocks, with sneakerheads desperate to own a piece of history. Every subsequent retro has been met with similar fervor. My Take

I got this pair when it released  in 2018 via a raffle entry from Titan 22. A sneaker retailer based in Manila, Philippines. It was one of my highlights as a sneaker collector and a must have as a sneakerhead.  Prior to getting this pair, I owned 2 other colorways of the Jordan 11. The'72-10' colorway celebrating the then best regular season win-loss in the NBA and the  'Win Like 82' which paid homage to Jordan's NCAA title with the University of North Carolina.  I still wear my pair and I don't plan of letting it go in the foreseeable future.
